The first Mansfield Growers Market is 3 pm to 7 pm Friday, June 26 in the parking lot of Mansfield Family Chiropractic at 107 N. Main Street (across from the Penny-Saver). In addition to eleven vendors selling a variety of locally grown and produced items, there will be free coffee, music, and demonstrations.

Products available for purchase include fresh seasonal produce, cut flowers, baked goods, honey, crafts, soap, herbs, cheese, milk, beef, pork, poultry, and eggs

Some of the vendors will also be doing demonstrations!

There will be volunteers to help direct parking, as there is limited parking at the market. “The lot will be pretty full with just the vendors,” says Paul Wendel, market co-manager, “and we want it safe for people—especially children—to walk around.” There will be a few spots reserved for those with mobility issues.

The market is organized by St. James Episcopal Church and sponsored by Strohecker Vision Care, The Penny-Saver, Papa V Pizzeria, Night and Day Coffee Café, Main Street Yoga, Guthrie Health, Grammas’ Kitchen, First Citizens Bank, and Changos Cantina. Anyone interested in becoming a market sponsor, vendor, musician, or who has questions should call 605-0325 or 638-3608.
